Stewards of the Future | A NZE Community Service Center

Precipitate was hired by Sedgewick & Ferweda Architects of Flint, MI to perform net-zero energy consulting for a new community service center. S&F's non-profit client is committed to being stewards of the people they serve by creating a high performance building that is energy efficient and inexpensive to operate to alleviate the financial burden on future generations. Precipitate conducted an evaluation of the initial building concept to determine the as-designed energy balance and made recommendations on how to improve the building's performance. The next phase will evaluate subsequent design changes to track progress towards their zero energy goal.
